You're not a short guy I'm just a tall girl, So we're never ever gonna fit     If you're lookin for a companion there's no way I could be it You may have money, You may be ripped, But if we can't stand lip to lip Then I'll be honest. My height is high. I wanna man thats at least eye to eye You're quite sufficient You're down-right grand But you cannot hold my hand If you wear heels than how can I? It'd be better if we don't even try I'm not too picky, I'm just aware, that when you're playin with my hair The need for tip-toes, when I wear flats. My dear there's something wrong with that The lament of the long legs, of the arms that could be wings   Here's her story so often lonely, with her head in the clouds she sings God Made Me Tall, But its no curse. When lookin at it, it could be worse God Made Me Tall to hit my head, And date short men til I'm dead. You see its not you, its really me. Its the way life must be Forced to look downwards and you look up. My dear its just by chance or luck That when I stood to give you hugs your face was buried in my jugs And then its awkward and downright weird. Oh yes the very thing I feared The greatest men I always find are never one of my own kind. God Made Me Tall, But its no curse. When lookin at it, it could be worse God Made Me Tall to hit my head & date short men.  oh date short men til I'm dead.

Bikini 02:38
BIKINI If I played piano in a bikini, then everybody would be dyin to see me If I played concerto in just a sombrero, then all of the critics would finally care - Oh And everyone on earth, would come to my show. If I played cabasa, looked like Megan Fox-ah, Then I would rock-ah, off a your socks, uh If I sang soprano if I fake tan-oh, and kissed a guy who looked like Marlon Brando Then everyone on earth, oh yeah everyone on earth would come to my show... I’d sell out to cash in, forget myself from back when Lose forty five pounds, make party rounds. Tell myself that I found bliss... where did all my happiness... Go.... So I play piano, for my grandma, pose for pictures with the family camera But if I played piano in a bikini, then everybody would be dyin to see me And everyone on earth, oh yeah everyone on earth, everyone... we got the old people, young people, everybody! Everyone on earth would come to my show.

RECESSION SONG I believe in dreams, I believe in life so many different things I believe its true, that there is someone watching over you. I believe that there’s power in a simple quiet prayer I believe you’ll see that there are many reasons to believe Cause maybe life ain’t handed you no rainbows and when you smile you really wanna frown and when you got the world upon your shoulders I’m telling you don’t be down. I believe my soul is resting in a hope that makes me whole I believe you’ll see that there are many reasons to believe Cause maybe life ain’t handed you no rainbows and when you smile you really wanna frown and when you got the world upon your shoulders I’m telling you don’t be down. When there’s a reason to be smiling (oh yeah) a reason to be glad Just look at all the good things that you have. Cause maybe life ain’t handed you no rainbows and when you smile you really wanna frown and when you got the world upon your shoulders I’m telling you don’t be down. You got no no reason I said you don’t... look at all the good things you have...

Freedom 03:37
FREEDOM I was a busy child, never was meek and mild, cause, I had way too much to do My mother said stay away, you’ll find love another day, for now there’s a better life for you. Now I waited all these days, now what do I wanna say? I wanna say I found freedom, I wanna say I found me I wanna say that I love it, I love being free But something inside me is screaming, to have something more than my goals Something inside me is saying, I don’t wanna be alone. You were a handsome boy, young and full of joy You never stopped long enough to look The other boys chasing tail, but you didn’t want to fail So you kept your face stuck in a book. You waited all these days, now what do you want to say? You wanna say you found freedom, you wanna say you found you You wanna say that you love it, but you know it ain’t the truth Cause something inside you is screaming to have something more than your goals Something inside you is saying, you don’t wanna be alone. Just two children making dreams, on top of the world it seems Their true feelings coming out, as they begin to shout. I wanna say you complete me, I wanna say that you’re mine. I don’t care if I got nothin, as long as you’re near me I’m fine. Cause something inside us is screaming to have something more than our goals Something inside us is saying, we don’t wanna be alone. My mother said stay away from men... but I didn’t listen.

THE WAY YOU HOLD ME How could I imagine this? Here it is, I’ve become that girl He looks at me, and all eternity could pass before me, while I’m sitting on top of the world. Its like you read my mind, only heaven makes your kind You might truly know me, by the way you hold me. Praying please, I’m on my knees. Let this moment last forever if you will I could just see the two of us, with the sky falling down we would stand completely still. Its like you read my mind, only heaven makes your kind You might truly know me, by the way you hold me. I know that we’re both scared and slightly unprepared for what may come to pass Tomorrow isn’t clear but while I have you here, you’re all that I ask... for Its like you read my mind... You might truly know me... by the way you hold me.

Universe 04:29
UNIVERSE I’m just sitting on the front porch watching the rain fall Seeing the lightning and feeling the thunder of.... Love I’m just holding my breath because you got me swimming under the waterfall of... Love. And nothing in the universe feels like love No nothing in the Universe. I’m just laughing at the thought that I could discover such a lover.. To love I’m just wishing on a star and praying for sunshine everyday all mine... to love and nothing in the universe feels like love No nothing in the universe And nothing in the universe feels like love No nothing in the Universe. I just want you to know that I have been waiting waiting for someone... to love the way you look at me now I just can’t explain it but somehow, somehow I know... that its love. And nothing in the universe feels like love No nothing in the Universe.

THIS DARK NIGHT Wish I could say it’ll go away in a short while Wish I could come and carry you through this trial Wish I could say that he loved you dear but he don’t Wish I could say it gets easier but it won’t Wish I was wrong Wish you were right Wishin there wasn’t such a thing as a lonely night Wish on a star, wherever you are But don’t give up yet... you’ve come so far This Dark night’s just making way for the light Waiting for him for years you’re hope grew dim Why can’t he get past his fears and live Oh, you carried burdens for two so that he’d change his mind While dying inside for the love you know you’ve got the right to find. Wish I was wrong Wish you were right Wishin there wasn’t such a thing as a lonely night Wish on a star, wherever you are But don’t give up yet... you’ve come so far No now don’t give up yet... you’ve come so far If you gotta cry then that’s okay This too shall pass away If you gotta cry then that’s okay This too shall pass away. Wish I was wrong Wish you were right Wishin there wasn’t such a thing as a lonely night Wish on a star, wherever you are But don’t give up yet... you’ve come so far No now don’t give up yet... you’ve come so far This Dark Night is just making way.... ooooo, Making way for the Light,   ooooo, Making way for the Light,  oooooo Making way for the Light, ooooh For The Light..

DON’T LEAVE ME HANGING I remember when we shared everything nothing seemed to keep us apart then winter came, its not the same as when the sun shined no going back to the start know that I’m different Much different than you But don’t leave me hanging cold and alone don’t leave me hanging on my own. Everytime I see you at a distance I tell myself just look away Hand in hand is what I planned but you won’t hold mine I just want you to stay I know that I’m different Much different than you But don’t leave me hanging cold and alone don’t leave me hanging don’t leave me hanging no don’t leave Its not up to me now You’ve drawn the line I want you to listen You wanna hide I know its worth fighting for if you change your mind Don’t leave me hanging... on my own

Near 03:16
NEAR He’s a good man With a good heart He’s so patient understands art with a wisdom he has attained with time knows a purity that we fail to find here That’s why I want him near. Teaches true love gives me good rest He’s enough and experienced With a wisdom he has shown well Speaks in sweet tones that make me melt... here Thats why I want him near. So tell me I’m a fool to let go of an image that the world has made me know Tell me why it seems so clear... here Thats what I want him near. Hold me closer be my baby Oh no Sir, there’s no maybe Thought this through now right in the days and nights and I know dear... thats why I want you thats why I want you near.
