Where Freedom Came From

from Unfinished (an acoustic album) by Adjoa

about

So this was a moment captured by the sound engineer Robb Leo Gilligan III. I was sitting in the studio trying to figure out what to record next (we were recording demos all night). I started to strum something while I was thinking... and then started singing whatever came out of my mouth while I strummed... this stream of thought at the wee hours of the morning is "Where Freedom Came From".
You may recognize the guitar part and some of the lyrics sounding familiar... thats because they were the start of my song "Freedom" which is on my album "Songs for Tall Women & The Short Men Who Love Them"
Thought this would be something to share... you can thank Robb, because I honestly didn't think there was anything to salvage from my ramblings...*which you know when you hear my statement at the end of the song" but listening back I'm thankful that Robb recorded it anyway :-)

lyrics

random thought that goes on and on and on.....
